Linked Terms Status
Received an update from WP for Linked Terms, had to fix two minor issues, provide a dns text record to prove ownership of this domain since the plugin links back to here, and update the readme file as I forgot to include information about the external api's used for the term discovery feature. I have resubmitted the fixes as requested.
Received another update that they don't like the name as they feel it's both to generic and anti-competitive. I have resubmitted per their requirements and have "officially" changed the plugin and slug to Linked Terms by Jeff Brigman. This should meet their requirements as many other plugins have similar naming.
I will update this post as I get more info from them.
Just for everyone's fyi, so you can see why it's taking so long.
Wordpress playing name games with me. They have rejected my newest naming. I will have to review my options before going any further.
Waiting on update again on slug and plugin name. I had to rename it as Clever Linked Terms because they didn't like the change...
How is this going?
Shani Cipro have to resubmit again. This time because I left off the WP prefix on several things that they now require… along with the fact that even though I’m listed on the plugin, I failed to list myself as a contributor.
I will resubmit it in next day or two.

Arjun Paudel Apologies, I have had to put delay on this. I am in in the process of finishing up the required changes today and hope to submit it to them tomorrow.
Arjun Paudel Shani Cipro just resubmitted the plugin. It is now in the WordPress.org review process (Round 2 after required plugin name change). I’ve addressed all issues identified by the review team and went a step further by performing a full internal audit to ensure everything meets WordPress standards.
- ✅ All required fixes from the review have been completed
- ✅ Additional improvements and bug fixes have been implemented
- ✅ The plugin has been fully tested and is ready for approval
At this point, I am now waiting on final review and approval from the WordPress team. Once approved, the plugin will be available in the official WordPress plugin repository.
I’ll share another update as soon as we hear back.
