Bricks Compatibility
Jeff Brigman I'm finally getting around to installing FC on one of my Bricks sites and I realized when I select the FC page layout it maintains all my Bricks styling. I know you put a lot of work into your plugin for Bricks compatibility...were you aware that it has natively improved?
Chris I will check further into it. A quick check on this site when I disable the integration, the content is still broken. I will create a staging site to test further.
Does the page have any buttons, icons, or other elements like that? Just initial testing on a staging site, it's still stripping styling from most things like icons, buttons, and other elements.
You also still cannot edit the page in bricks like you should be able to. You have to change the template first, edit/save, and then switch the template back. My integration makes it seamless and places an "Edit with Bricks" button on the page if you're logged in as an admin.
Do you have a link that I can view and inspect the html/css?
Jeff Brigman let me test what you have mentioned above. I've only applied the template and witnessed the styling maintain as it didn't do it months back when I originally tested. I'll report back...
Jeff Brigman after deeper testing you're correct. The pages I viewed were authored by Gutenberg (via Kadence plugin). The Bricks pages did have some styling stripped and definitely wasn't able to edit with the Bricks Builder.
