WP_Query

WP_Query is WordPress’s class for retrieving posts according to query arguments. It supports criteria such as post type, publication status, taxonomy terms, metadata and search text, together with ordering and pagination. Themes and plugins use its results to render content lists. For large datasets, requesting only needed records and avoiding unnecessary cache hydration can reduce database and memory work.
