WordPress Child Theme
1 tag
1 category
A child theme inherits functionality and presentation from a parent theme while storing selected customizations separately. It allows changes without editing files that the parent’s next update may replace. The child declares its parent through the theme stylesheet header. Parent updates can still affect compatibility, so inheritance does not eliminate the need to test customized templates.
