Unique Constraint

1 category
A unique constraint prevents more than one row from storing the same value or combination of values in a defined database key. It can enforce one installation activation per license and site identifier. It is stronger than checking first and then inserting without a constraint. Handle the database’s conflict result deliberately when concurrent requests try to create the same record.
