Tumbling Window

1 category
A tumbling window divides time into fixed-size, nonoverlapping intervals. Each event belongs to one interval under the chosen timestamp and boundary rules, making the pattern useful for totals such as requests per minute.
The result depends on whether the processor uses event time or processing time. Late-event handling and window alignment also matter, particularly when a reporting period must match a business-defined clock boundary.
