Synaptic Shadow Mode

Shadow Mode is Synaptic Accelerator's verification mode in which WordPress continues to supply the real option value. Synaptic independently resolves the same eligible option after the native option path completes, and the bridge compares the results using strict type and value equality.

Dynamic WordPress option filters are included in the comparison because a transformed result can affect whether future short-circuit reads would be safe. Reported observations distinguish the direct Synaptic lookup latency from the observed native option path. A matching shadow sample is evidence for the tested reads, not a general promise of production compatibility.
