Synaptic Read-Shadow Metrics

Read-Shadow Metrics are Synaptic Accelerator's 0.6.6-alpha diagnostics for comparing eligible option reads. The report counts observed reads, exact comparisons, matches, mismatches, missing Synaptic records, and decode or lookup errors. A bounded recent sample supports average, P95, and P99 latency reporting.

Mismatch samples contain option names, types, approximate serialized sizes, and reasons, while option values are never recorded in this telemetry. Metrics are stored in an internal synaptic option excluded from the projection and can be reset. Verification should inspect parity and integrity as well as the mismatch, missing-record, and error counts.
