Synaptic Accelerator
Synaptic Accelerator is Jeff Brigman's experimental WordPress read-acceleration bridge for Synaptic Store. The reviewed 0.6.6-alpha builds a compiled projection of eligible WordPress options and supports verification before option-read acceleration is considered. WordPress and MySQL remain authoritative for the real settings.
Shadow mode keeps WordPress serving option values while comparing them with Synaptic results. Metrics record matches, mismatches, missing records, errors, and latency without storing option values. Accelerate mode can short-circuit reads and is described in the package as a test-site feature that should not be enabled on production before verification.
