Read Your Writes

Read your writes is a session guarantee that a client can observe its own completed updates in subsequent reads. For example, a member who changes a profile name should see the new name when reopening the profile, even if other clients still read older replicas.

Implementations may route the session to a sufficiently current replica or carry a version requirement. The guarantee does not require every client to see all writes immediately.
