Plugin Deactivation Hook

1 category
A deactivation hook runs when WordPress deactivates an ordinary plugin. It can remove scheduled tasks or temporary runtime state while preserving the user’s durable data for reactivation. Deactivation is not the same as uninstall. Deleting licenses, content, or business records at this stage can make a routine compatibility test unexpectedly destructive.
