Object Cache

2 tags 1 category

The WordPress object cache stores reusable application values through functions such as wp_cache_get() and wp_cache_set(). Core’s default implementation lasts for the current request. An object-cache drop-in can provide persistence across requests, often using Redis or Memcached. Cache groups organize entries, and mutations must invalidate or version cached results so old data is not served.
