get_metadata_by_mid()

get_metadata_by_mid() — Retrieves metadata by meta ID.

Inputs: $meta_type (string): Type of object metadata is for. Accepts ‘blog’, ‘post’, ‘comment’, ‘term’, ‘user’, or any other object type with an associated meta table. $meta_id (int): ID for a specific meta row.

Returns stdClass|false: Metadata object, or boolean false if the metadata doesn’t exist. Field $meta_key (string): The meta key. Field $meta_value (mixed): The unserialized meta value. Field $meta_id (string): Optional. The meta ID when the meta type is any value except ‘user’. Field $umeta_id (string): Optional. The meta ID when the meta type is ‘user’. Field $blog_id (string): Optional. The object ID when the meta type is ‘blog’. Field $post_id (string): Optional. The object ID when the meta type is ‘post’. Field $comment_id (string): Optional. The object ID when the meta type is ‘comment’. Field $term_id (string): Optional. The object ID when the meta type is ‘term’. Field $user_id (string): Optional.
