get_calendar()

get_calendar() — Displays calendar with days that have posts as links. The calendar is cached, which will be retrieved, if it exists. If there are no posts for the month, then it will not be displayed.

Inputs: $args (array): Optional. Arguments for the get_calendar function. Field $initial (bool): Whether to use initial calendar names. Default true. Field $display (bool): Whether to display the calendar output. Default true. Field $post_type (string): Optional. Post type. Default ‘post’.

Returns string|null|void: Calendar HTML when $display is false, null when the site has no posts. Nothing otherwise.
