An OAuth-based email connection authorizes a supported provider without placing a normal mailbox password in the SMTP configuration. Access and refresh tokens represent the granted authorization. Provider app settings, redirect configuration, and account permissions must agree. If authorization is revoked or expires, reconnect through the supported flow and verify that WordPress messages resume sending.
