A FluentCart setup fee is a one-time charge collected at the beginning of a subscription in addition to its recurring price. Its amount and customer-facing label are configured separately from the billing interval. The fee appears as its own purchase line item. It can represent onboarding or activation work, but should not be confused with an amount collected on every renewal.
