CSV

CSV (comma-separated values) is a text format for exchanging tabular data. Records contain fields separated by commas; fields containing commas, quotes or line breaks require quoting, and embedded quotes are doubled. A header row can name the columns. CLT imports depend on consistent column names and encoding, so CSV files should preserve the expected schema when edited.
